REDWOOD CITY -- A San Mateo County teacher is in custody for allegedly having sex with and bearing a child by a 16-year-old former student, Redwood City police reported Friday.

Rebecca A. Boicelli, 33, was arrested Thursday afternoon on charges of unlawful sexual intercourse and lewd acts with a minor for her alleged relationship with the boy.

Boicelli and the victim met when he was a 14-year-old student and she was his teacher.

Two years later, when Boicelli was no longer the teen's teacher, she and the boy reportedly conceived a child, born in June of 2004.

Boicelli was arrested after an extensive investigation and DNA paternity testing confirmed that the she and the teen were the parents of the infant, police report.

Didn't that already happen with a Philipian kid and a teacher and after he turned 18 he wanted to marry her or w/e. I dunno maybe we should pay teachers more they can't afford porn or hookers.

Why is she sick if they met after she had finished teaching him and he was the legal age to have sex?

I dont understand why she is in custody if the kid was 16? Unless she was shagging him when he was 14?

If the legal age was sixteen, would the woman still be a "sick broad"? Is it the fact that she broke the law is what makes her sick? Hypothetically, if the age of consent was bumped to 21, would it be immoral for older woman to sleep with an 18 year old?

I'm curious if your morals are dictated by the government or you have some other moral enlightenment that can help myself understand your arguement.
