How bad is the snow where you're at?

WTF? They just said on the weather news South Florida will be down to the low 30's on Monday.

Now watch it start snowing in Miami and you know the world is really fucked up.

Carmensita 01-22-2005 09:31 PM

LittleMack 01-22-2005 09:34 PM

Hey KRL, that would be fucked up. I just spent the day with the family at Universal Studios/Islands of Adventure today and I am grateful we live where it is not snow hell. I am from Pittsburgh originally and will never go back.

xclusive 01-22-2005 09:34 PM

sixxxthsense 01-22-2005 09:34 PM

paxton 01-22-2005 09:34 PM

We had our ice storm last week (Portland). Now the East coast is getting hammered. Can't wait to see some nice pics.

And how bad will the weather be tomorrow for Pats v Steelers and Eagles v Falcons?

Undisputed1 01-22-2005 09:35 PM

Spunky 01-22-2005 09:35 PM

Been one extreme to the next...record cold temperatures and snow fall to flooding and pissing rain here in Vancouver..I rather have the rain though

XxXotic 01-22-2005 09:36 PM

They showed the stadium in Philadelphia. 700 workers are there moving the snow out in carts.

It was around 70 or so here this afternoon but is suppose to freeze tomorrow night. I am just a couple hours north of you KRL. Are we suppose to cover our patio plants? Did you hear that on the news? What the hell do you cover them with, blankets?

Sounds promising. :)

PerfectionGirls 01-22-2005 09:44 PM

Sitting on about 14" of snow as of now.. going to get about 5 more inches over the next 10 hours they say.

The wind is what is killing us here. Its gusting to 50 mph and the tempture before windchill is 7 degrees... factor in the wind and its 32 below.

:(

Violetta 01-22-2005 09:44 PM

Lots of snow in north Europe!

Those gas warmers you see in outdoor restaurants or heat lamps.

I'd put the plants in the garage to be safe.

TKoProductions 01-22-2005 09:45 PM

wach u takin 'bout willis?

it was 75 degrees here in the San Fernando Valley.

No snow forcasted here tonite
Just -34C freeze your ass off cold.
It is supposed to warm up to a balmy -7C tomorrow, with -3C to -4C Monday and Tuesday
Whoohoo after 3 or 4 weeks of the -30C to -45C cold, it will fell like shorts/t-shirt weather.

sweetums 01-22-2005 09:50 PM

I wish it was warm enough for snow up here...we're dealing with -32 Celsius with the windchill which amounts to something like -25 Farenheit. Basically translate that to too freakin' cold :)

Lucky you, has it stopped where you are at?

Sammy4u 01-22-2005 09:53 PM

Thanks KRL. I can't put them in the garage though as they are planted in the patio around the pool. I guess I will have to get some heaters or risk it and just replant if they die.

I didn't think it was suppose to freeze in Florida!

BlueDesignStudios 01-22-2005 09:54 PM

No snow here :(

seven 01-22-2005 09:55 PM

frankfortuna 01-22-2005 09:55 PM

Damn Jeff, i would lock all the doors and windows. Stay in my office room at home and don't come out for days. That is some harsh weather.

Jennifer84 01-22-2005 09:55 PM

It's 19 here

We have about 11 inches of snow. I haven't left the house since 10am. If it wasn't for this wine I wouldn't have made it through the night

LOL! Yeah.. well did have to shovel the driveway to get the cars out of the garage and clear the walk to the studio door so the models could get in. Im going to be paying hardcore for that tomorrow.

Right now you cant even walk outside without your face stinging and going numb within seconds. Not a nice place to be. I swear Im moving to Fl here soon. :)

Getting to old for this.

KRL 01-22-2005 10:05 PM

I remember as a kid growing up in Philadelphia the worst thing about snow storms was having to walk the dogs. And then as more snow comes you always end up stepping in the snow covered dog shit or you have a snowball fight and some idiot nails you with one of those dog piss yellow colored snowballs.

I am sure a few gfy members will show up at your door and ask for 25 bucks to shovel it all. So they can afford a gallery template design.
