This Dell LCD is a nice one. I personally have one. They had these last week on www.gotapex.com for about 550 USD. These were brand new as well. If I were you I would cancel your order and then wait for another good deal.

Are my calcs off, or is a 20 inch widescreen the same as a 16 inch on 4:3 material? (that is, does 4:3 aspect ratio material show up on a 20 inch widescreen as the size of a 16 inch "normal" monitor?).

Negative, they don't have anymore. They had a bunch when I ordered on the 20th. Keep checking though. Good deals on the outlet stuff, and I personally never had a problem with anything purchased through it.

20" is too small, i got a 21" on a cool swivel arm... (actually 2 of them - one in each house - i move the laptop between them)

Even with 19" I get tired fast.

I have had one for a couple of months.. It is a great monitor.. If you get one without backlightning issues.. They have them one sale for around 600$ every few weeks..

Btw.. They are comming out with a 24" widescreen monitor with a Samsung panel next month.. Should be sweet.
