AFF stats and free signups...
 

I just started using AFF -- I'm on the click program -- I sent about 32 free signups so far -- but I don't know how many of these free signups converted to paying memberships...

Right now I'm at 1:25 instead of their required 1:20... anyway looks like they still haven't moved me to their "percentage partner" program -- but I'm wondering if I'd be making more money on their signups program -- but their stats don't even show how much money I'm making them. Maybe this is intentional ;) I'm also worried -- maybe at the end of the month they will say, "fuck you, you are not converting" -- then I'm on the partner program -- and then they can make up any conversion that they want because I don't know how many full members I'm referring due to their shitty stats -- then they can pay me ZERO if they want to! (This is how Brad Shaw justified fucking me in the ass) In any case -- your comments are appreciated.

Here is a quote off their page,

"Important: if your traffic produces less than 1 FREE signup in
20 visitors, or 1 paying membership in 25 FREE signups, your account may
be converted into a "percentage partner" account at anytime after you've sent
500 uniques or 3 days. We had to do this to keep sites from cheating or
putting our banners in "inappropriate" sites. This has only affected less
than 3% of our click partners."

Are you talking about Adult Friend Finder (AFF)?

I looked at their terms and they qoute:
"For example, after reviewing partner statistics, we may convert partners that do not meet the 20-1 (unique click to sign up ratio) or 25-1 (signups to paying membership) from a CPC to a percentage payout without notification."

Note that they say we MAY convert partners.

And they also state that they'll pay $0.045 per unique if you convert better than 1:30 for free signups etc. it's a sliding scale per click program.

Anyway I think their terms suck, they blame everything on the webmasters and nothing on themselves...

Yeah Adult Friend Finder -- I asked about this program here a couple of weeks ago and everyone was raving about how great it was...

I'm making about $.042/unique with them -- if that's front page clicks -- and I think it is -- then that's not too bad.

But I'm still kindof wary about them.

I've been using them for 2 years. They're solid.
