Ah well, what the fuck. I live in halifax. Not like there's anything that'd be open today anyways, unless I wanted to go elbow-to-elbow with the rest of the whole damn city at the movie theatre. :disgust Although when I was there the other day I saw Steve Murphy with his boy. Damn that dude is short! Like 5'5" maybe... squat little bastard. :1orglaugh |

Halifax is a 2 hour drive up for me. Do you ever eat @ Jack Astors btw? tis a nice place for a gathering, some sort of maritime webmaster bash or better .. escape :-) |

I was contemplating throwing a summer shindig for some Canadian webmasters, sponsoring a deep sea fishing & lobster feast....but jack astors would be good for a small gathering |

summers in the maritimes r not that bad (after the blackflies have gone) but there is no way i'm going in or under the water of the atlantic. Lobster phishing is ok, but i prefer going out to sea for some sharks. Another idea would be to do some atv'en. Keep me in the loop if you're planning something coming summer ok. |

As for the summer event - it would be shark, or large fish game, not lobster fishing. Lobster would just be the dinner out at sea - the guy I've been talking with about getting boats for it said what he usually does is docks on an island, sets a fire and cooks the lobster - fresh, for the dinner guests - for a break from the big game fishing. Would be a full 8 hour trip - I can keep ya posted |
