It was a great movie. Of course I saw Evil Dead way, way back. Then Evil Dead II was released, and I think it's my favorite.

Its so cheesy than its good
I love Sam Raimi´s direction, very creative use of cinematography
Even Spider-man 2 have some scenes directed as a reference to his evil dead saga (like the scene at the hospital with Dr. Octopus)
