Photo retouching (pics)

For anyone interested, we're now offering our services for photo-retouching in addition to logo and mascot design.
Our Adobe Certified Photoshop guru is a freelancer for fashion magazines and now she's looking to make a little extra cash on the side doing touch-ups for adult sites. If you're interested, you can hit her up directly at [email protected] for info on availability and pricing.
And here are a few pics she whipped up today for some examples.

looks good.
i like the color of the model's eyes in the last one.

axelcat 01-21-2005 12:19 PM

nice job, the pics look revived

tony286 01-21-2005 12:21 PM

not much actual touchup work ,looks like she played with curves and levels a little. Not impressive for a ps guru

Wiggles 01-21-2005 12:29 PM

looks like basic lighting changes, most programs automatically can do that now.

jt420 01-21-2005 12:31 PM

nice looking touchups

woj 01-21-2005 12:37 PM

she does a pretty good job :thumbsup

Dominic_M 01-21-2005 02:13 PM

Try looking closer :)
The skin tone has been evened out, piercing removed, body fat reduced, highlights added, eye-colour added, smile adjusted, hair fixed etc.

Auto Colour/Levels and Curves wont do that.

Rob 01-21-2005 02:16 PM

Smart Blur and BandAid Tool. :thumbsup

Good job though. :thumbsup

Rilose 01-21-2005 02:18 PM

pretty basic....

Can't see the body fast ajusted... contrast is way too high, it looks fake.

Hi everyone!
I'll field these questions/comments myself :)

Dominic asked me to give him some samples to show you guys so I did these this morning. I can't show any of my magazine stuff because that would give away my secret identity :D
For these photos, I airbrushed the veins from the legs, evened out the skin tone, and removed all the spots (yes, with the healing brush ;) ) and added definition to the abs and legs with highlights. In the second picture, I removed the folds in the skin between her leg and thigh and made her smile more natural. I added make-up to her eyes (and slightly lowered the right eye). The picture reminded me of the final nude photos of Marilyn Monroe, so I adjusted the colour settings to give it an early '60s feel :)
The third picture had no definition, so I wanted to give it a Victoria's Secret vibe. I removed the body fat from her back at the ridge of her bikini and tightened the look of her skin. She's pretty pale so I warmed up the colour of her body and gave her cold, icy eyes :) With more time, I'd fix her hair because the contrast is too high.
I'll look for another pic to touch up tomorrow...one that's a real challenge and I'll post it tomorrow.
Good night! :)

my thoughts, i wouldn't pay for this, but it's impressive nonetheless.. what photoshop can do.

Praguer 01-21-2005 09:34 PM

We have been doing a lot of re-touching for many adult customers during the last 2 years and I can tell you that re-touching pics for adult is not easy. You have to make the model look great without looking photoshoped because in adult, that is a very, very big turn off.

We have worked out a system with some of our cutomers, which of course I am not going to disclose, but I can tell you that it would be hard to tell that photoshop touched any of our retouched images.

However Michelle you have the skills, it's just a matter of working closer with your customers to achieve the right look.

foolio 01-21-2005 09:39 PM

the first two look really nice, but the last one is not my thing
