Do you have a widescreen monitor? I need your HELP!!

I just bought the Dell W1700 Widescreen monitor, but it seems that I cannot change the screen resolution to 1280x768, even after installing all the drivers and rebooting the system.

Is there anything I should do to fix this? I'm using the 4:3 resolution right now, otherwise the graphics would be distorced.

Could you guys help me out?

Problems like that are often related to your video card - it might be time for a new one of those too.
