HA, NBC has learned one lesson!
 

I have my TV on for backround noise, so I was watching ER just now and they had this lawyer who said he lost his shirt on niftypets.com. So a quick whois search shows they registered it ahead of time. :(

I was able to register a few domains mentioned on NBC primetime before, so I guess after that last one on Law & Order they learned their lesson. :1orglaugh

Damnit. I wanted Niftypets.com so I could turn it into a housepet fucking site. Drats.

LOL, several years ago Queer as Folk had a storyline about one of the characters opening a porn website called jerkatwork.com

As soon as they first mentioned it, I typed it in and it was a simple page with a blub about "We're not a real site but we play one on TV" and a congrats on being attentive.:1orglaugh

what happend on Law & Order before this ?

They had a story line about a website involved in their investigation, it was about 5 minutes of story line but they failed to register the domain, so I took upon myself to register it and point it to one of my sites. :1orglaugh

It got a little press, (the bloggers loved it!) and an e-mail wondering if I would be so kind in giving it up (not likely), the bookmarks from it are not bad, and I am looking to the rebroadcast. :thumbsup
