Need help on my first DVD!
 

:helpme I am making my first DVD and I was seeing if anyone had any good info to help me. I am shooting it myself and having a friend edit. I will be making all the copies my self as well as the DVD cover and design. What I was needing some help with is selling them. I mean I will put them on my site but is there other ways to sell them? Again this is my first one so I am pretty lost any info would be a big help. Thanks, Melissa

you could also put your DVD available for streaming viewing on AEBN and a bunch of other VOD/streaming sites.

No that's ok I like to learn everything on my own. I tried having a webmaster with my first site and well I ended on the wrong end of that one. great to hear that your doing it on your own, when one of my friends made her own dvd we went to all the local strip clubs and sex stores and offered them $6 per dvd which sold at $14 and most of them liked the offer since they didnt have to pay anything upfront for the dvd's. She ended up selling about 5000 locally within a month and next week she'll be doing it in nyc and miami. Just do some live appearances and maybe some free dancing at the clubs if your comfortable with that and get some posters done.

1) video will be too short and need more substance.

2) You should seek assistance. I am not saying turn over your name, just seek assistance on your goals as a whole. Trying to do things on your own will limit your profit potential. I hire people all the time. I do not even change my own codes or do small design work. There are people that specialize in that stuff.
