GW's got some Big Ass Balls!
With American boys and girls being blown to pieces by Iraqies who hate our guts and America paying the price in blood for the same Nation building GW campaigned against GW Bush says... Shall we dance!
Over 10,000 young men and women mamed, lost arms, legs, eyes and tens of thousands scarred by the mind fuck of combat and counting and GW Bush says... Shall we dance! During his speach today he proclaimed his right to decide what type of government other countries use as he spreads democracy at the point of a gun carried by some poor kids from the National Guard, while his daughters stand beside him in evening gowns and he says ... Shall we dance! Well George.. the world can definately see you got some big ass balls! But you know if you put your daughters in the Texas National Guard and put them in the front lines of combat then.. maybe I'd agree that you have big balls. Till then you're just a dancing fool in my book! Joe |

Those who signed up did so for many reasons, including DEFENDING their country... I don't think it included attacking sovereign countries the other side of the world.... that didn't attack you :321GFY |

When I first heard GW campaign 5 years ago I said then.. This fuckers going to get us into a war. You could tell then. Listen to what he says, listen to what he said this very day. You think Iraq is the only place we will be at war with in the next four years? This administration screwed the pooch on weapons of mass distruction and everthing after that too and its been one lie and excuse after then next.
I think we should fight new wars don't get me wrong.... A war against world hunger... A war against poverty ... A war against Cancer and disease... A war against ignorence... But we can't use up our precious resource of our youth to overturn every dictator out there. Joe |
I will never do that.

Last time I checked my history, Hawaii was not a state during the attack. It was just a territory. That would be like if Guam were attacked. But that was back when I was a little kid. Maybe history is different these days. |

Just because it's Bush your ass is all outspoken. If it were Kerry, you wouldn't have a god damn thing to say, except "Look at what a graceful speech the president just made!" |
Sigh. You want to argue semantics, that's fine. I'm talking about a distinction between the silliness of Vietnam, or the current ridiculousness of Iraq. Both of those were/are 'preemptive wars'. Same with Korea, actually. Where the nations involved did not attack the United States, but we went to war against them to defend our 'interests'.
Pearl Harbor, regardless of whether it was an attack on a 'territory', was an attack, by a military force, belonging to an actual country, directed at the United States. If you read some of the correspondence amongst the Japanese Military regarding Pearl Harbor, they are pretty clear that they were attacking the United States. You want to make the arguement about the fine print, well - I guess that's a way to win without actually being right. The war in Iraq is an unwinnable farce, and history will show that to be true. |
