A bit of Help required!!!
 

Hello everyone.

We feel our site Flogshop.com has massive potential and would hope most of this forums users would agree, however, we require a bit of help from the people in the know! This site is seriously lacking intrest, hopefully someone using this forum will be able to advice us on the necessary action required to help promote Flogshop and get it seen by a much wider audience.

We apprciate that there are many auction websites available for use on the www but we hope to make Flogshop just as successful and are waiting for the right man or advice to guide us correctly in our aim.

How is your site any different than ebay?

:Oh crap Honestly! Unless your willing to provide the mail addresses to people that are in the know, this is all I can do - ASK! Thats what forums are for isnt it!

Ideas anyone?

Your site design is generic and boring. Start with that.

At the very least, Ebay has a very catchy logo.

I also do not 'get' the name, flogshop. Not very memorable or brandable.

We did design a logo - this logo was very similar to Ebays and we were politley warned of its likeness of ebay reps so we removed it!

But I do agree, we want to have our own style but unless the site takes off then we wont bother trying!
