Yes, the geo-targeting works worldwide.

However, we also have a coarse-level geo-detection capability that's been operating for several months, which would show country results regardless of whether the "&ip=auto" switch were used or not. Insofar as the IP-matching DB we're currently using can resolve to the city level for Japan, those results would appear.

Remember also, that we have auto-language detection from the browser setting.

So, a visitor in Japan would see something like this: RESULTS

I'm using this exact link in my gallery and so far:

260 uniques = 0 Paid Signups / 0 Free Signups / 1 People Pending Approval

before today I was averaging 44 uniques per FREE signup
