AndrewKanuck 01-19-2005 10:09 PM

That'd be big pimpin'

Do what Trump did, buy an old boeing that's just sitting there un-used, for 1/8th it's value, and renovate it to your own space.

jt420 01-19-2005 10:17 PM

it would be badass to gamble on a plan. set up some blackjack tables and maybe have some type of lounge singer lol.

Turboface 01-19-2005 10:21 PM

Is it just me or does this giant plane seem like too much of a juicy target for terrorists?

:Oh crap

d00t 01-19-2005 10:41 PM

cant wait for the new airbus... :)

SmutGiant 01-19-2005 10:43 PM

I wonder how much a ticket would have cost.

Well that blows... i saw a story on it a couple months back on History Channel and had my hopes up. I'd like to see what virgin does with their planes, there is a lot of potential. If it just hauls a shit load of people then I don't see what makes it that much better then the 747. I think Boeings 7E7 will be much more anticipated as a low cost, efficient plane. That's what the US needs...

Virgin

Virgin Airlines are the best. A first class ticket gets you picked up from your home by Range Rover, dropped off at the Virgin VIP lounge where you can have a massage, shower, haircut and manicure, cooked breakfast, bucks fizz ( Champagne and Orange juice ) play video games watch films, or just kick back and sleep.
On the plane ( a 747-300 ) you have a lounge and bar area, snacks before take off. A menu with choice of wines, appetizers, main course. ( special requests can be ordered 2 weeks prior to your flight ) The fully reclining leather chairs are about twice the width of normal seats, they give you a night shirt / gown to put on if you wish to sleep and the chair is electric and reclines to a full size single bed which will hold a 6-2" person without hanging over the ends.

When you arrive in London or LA they will drive you in a new limo to you home or hotel. They drove me from LA with 3 suitcases and 2 mountain bikes all the way to San Diego all included in the cost.

Virgin is the only way to fly, this new airbus will be the shit if Branson gets his way. I am so looking forward to traveling back to London on it.

Virgin Airlines has a bar in its first class section on long distance flights.
