I just bought Windows XP Home edition, and when I went to install thinking it would format for me and remove XP professional now on there, it gave me a warning that having more than one OS may cause problems...but nothing about removing XP Profesional. I'll try again then, thanks.

set 1st boot device in BIOS to CDROM and then insert the XP Home in the cdrom when starting up.

It should boot from cdrom now [or you have to press any key] and you can choose delete partition/format somwhere along the line

:thumbsup

Yeah... it should keep going until it gets to a point where you get to pick which drive to install it on, and then a choice to format it.
