Can't forget Slick Rick & Big Daddy Kane
|
Wow, Tupac, Snoop and Dre are all oldschool now. So many years gone by already.
Slightly older stuff: It takes two - Rob Base Sucka MC's - Run DMC (classic from like 1983) This or That - Blacksheep Humpty Dance - Digital Underground Fight for you right - Beastie Boys Anything off the Ice-T Rhymen Pays album Fight the Power - Public Enemy Let's Get It Started - Hammer NWA Gas Face - Third Base My Melody - Eric B and Rakim Children's Story -Slick Rick There's also oldschool like Kurtis Blow and Grandmaster Flash. Guys like them were trailblazers but I'm not much of a fan of the music. I can appreciate it though because without them none of the other rappers would exist. I like Sugar Hill Gang's "Rapper's Delight" from 1979 and have it on vinyl. |
Some Older then others.
Nas AZ Wu-Tang (all of them) Biggy Pac Nwa Easy E House Of Pain Cypress Hill Dre Dre Snoop Gangstarr Pete Roc Run Dmc Fat Boys Das Efx Maestro Fresh Wes Eric B and Rakim Beastie Boys Grand Puba Nice and Smooth Ice-T These are just some of the guys/groups I liked. I wish I could remember them all.. |
Yeah
Ghetto Boys Ice Cube Mobb Deep Lost Boys Daz Currupt list goes on. |
