Gee -- Hadn't thought of that...

Just found out this morning and the card has been cancelled. The fraud dept. is also working on it. I'm just venting.

Call them bank report it, then find the mexicans and cut them up

xclusive 01-19-2005 11:50 AM

Sorry man that sucks

candyflip 01-19-2005 11:53 AM

Sanborn's is like Denny's, with a gift shop. So you know that they have a full stomach and so cool Mexican schwag.

Trixie Racer 01-19-2005 11:58 AM

That really sucks. Many banks won't even credit your account for fraud that occurs with a debit card. :2 cents:

Someone overseas charged my card $700 today, fraud department called and I agreed to cancel the card and get a new number. This is the second time this happened to me in the past year. The first time it was with a different card and some fucker was also trying to use it overseas. It is more a hassle than anything, and the fuckers end up with nothing. How do they get my cc number when I use a secure form?

Do you use a shredder? It's amazing how many people don't.

MetaMan 01-19-2005 12:05 PM

Call the bank and report it.

PetMyKitty 01-19-2005 12:15 PM

on Bank of america DEBIT CARDS They will give you your money back the very next day after contacting the fraud department and reporting fraudulant charges.. so if a bank won't do this.. than a person should switch to bank of america where they will have the stolen money back into your bank account within 24 hours. i know.. because it happened to me once and to my sister and the money was back in my account within 24hours.

WankTank 01-19-2005 12:18 PM

Thats shitty man.
Happened to my Grandma last year it got racked up $5000, and everything was payed back within like 4 weeks of the whole mess.
Hopefully you guys have the same luck!

tony286 01-19-2005 12:19 PM

you should be able to get that all back

r3ap3r 01-19-2005 12:22 PM

Give it sometime and you should get it all back.

bigdog 01-19-2005 01:00 PM

what actual benefits do you get from a debit card you don't get from a credit card?

pxxx 01-19-2005 01:02 PM

I dont trust credit cards.

warlock5 01-19-2005 01:20 PM

Fuck that, I don't trust debit cards.

Peaches 01-19-2005 01:29 PM

I don't like debit cards. My main fear is not knowing someone's stolen my number until something bounces. Yes, I know I can get the money back and yes I know I can get the fees waived, but it's just not worth the hassle. I'll stick with credit cards.
