Is the PR hype over?
 

Where are the 10 google pr posts a day we used to have?
I thought everybody found it so goddamn important what PR your site is and everybody was buying pr 5+ domains???

Could it just been a hype which everybody fell for because it sounded interesting?

Pagerank is being phased out. In 12 months it will not exist.

Just because its not beeing mentioned on GFY doesn't mean its not important anymore..far from it :D

it was hyped i think, but still it's a factor in the entire seo equasion (i'm no expert though)

This is not a good time to be speculating on the value of PR, effect of backlinks, and where G is headed overall.

As hard as it may seem, shifting SE traffic dependency from G to the many other search engines may be prudent at this time.

Yahoo is climbing fast and the aggregate of little SEs adds up faster than you might think.
