I missed my flight by 24 hours this morning!
 

so we go to the airport this morning to go back to Montreal from LA

we were stuck in huge traffic, so we barely made it, 45 mins before departure

I get to the front desk to get my ticket (bought it online) and they say that I am not present in their registry at all..

I call Air Canada and they tell me my flight was the day before...
had to pay 283$CAD extra to be able to sit on that damn plane...

and when you THINK about it, the seats they gave us were StandBy Seats! I was charged 283$ extra for standby seats...

now, why did I miss my flight?
it was because I had ordered it on the phone with Expedia, therefore I had no reciept what so ever. Before I flew to LA, I called Air Canada and got the info from a rep... who told me that I was flying back on the 18th... so all my flight info was hand written by me, but why the hell would I write the 18th if the person told me it was the 17th???

ugh... this morning was one of the most stressful morning of my life... :(

That sucks man you should always have a print out to back yourself up in situations like this,.

At least you're back home. It could have been worse...

lol, I took a greyhound once from Montreal to Los Angeles. it was the worst 5 days in my life.
