I've never watched that show, but have (unfortunately) heard some clips of folks that auditioned or actually made it on the show....not so good!!

Yeah some strange people try out for those shows. I guess it's all for the entertainment value.

yeah, there are some shitty singers, but then sometimes someone walks in the room and puts goosebumps on you with their voice (in the good way)

its entertainment at its best
