I just put my old bed on the street.
 

I have had the bed for like 20 years. I was allready sleeping in my new bed for weeks now but I could not put my old bed on the street.
I have had several relations in the bed. I have been very sick in the bed. I have cried,laughed,fucked and played games in the bed.
If the bed could talk it could tell more stories then I can.
And now...its there with the other garbage....

I have put several beds out on the street over the years, and they almost NEVER get picked up by the garbage men ... their usually long gone before the garbage truck even gets there.

Hopefully it will end up in a good home rather than the dump! You might try putting a sign that says "free" on it.

I might...maybe I should have given it to one of those recycling shops...But it was a real old bed. I can not imagine anybody not having an emotional attachment with it wanting it...

Uh, what is cartboard?

The first thing I had to do when my husband died was throw out the bed and get a new one. It was a fantastic bed but sometimes it is time to start a fresh and make new memories :)
