Toy Store Affiliate - Why you use or don't use them? Most helpful WINS a sextoy!
Hey webmasters, I'm the affiliate manager for XXXpressToys.com, a toystore affiliate program, and I wanted to know the reasons why you, as a webmaster, like and don't like promoting toystore affiliate programs. If you have had experience with our program, please also add what you liked about our site or disliked. I have a few ideas on making our program better for everyone but it's always good to hear other's opinions. Even if you haven't used a toy affiliate, drop an opinion here.
For helping out, I will send a quality sextoy (male or female) to the person with most helpful post. I will PM the winner for their address to send to. And if you don't use sextoys, use it as a paper holder or garden tool. Thanks guys. |

We use them in the Member area to get free toys for the models to use on shoots. We also (obviously) use our ref. codes in the wishlists, etc. so we get paid to have other people buy toys that we then get to use...lol
Oh, and PM's don't work on this board. :) |

I don't promote them because in the distant past when I tried they did not sell.
Also in general they don't offer many tools for promotion, ie. not affiliate friendly. |

That's a good idea, I thought also about it, but most of the Toy Store Affiliate Porograms that I contacted didnt want to do that.... |

I've tried out a few toy programs in the past and I found that they didn't convert very well and commission was relatively low.
Also, logic tells me that most of my surfers are men (based on the type of sites I run), and most men are pretty happy using their hand for self-pleasure. If I had a site that targeted women I would DEFINITELY be promoting toys though, seems like it would be pretty easy and lucrative to sell sex toys to women who are aroused and penis-less. :2 cents: -Phil |
1. Gimme BDSM-style goodies like floggers, (not the little cheapee "See, I'm kinky-I have a flog with nine really dry and thin leather tails!" I"m talkin' REAL ones), dungeon stuff like spanking benches, Liberator shapes, etc.
2. Gimme a way to sell JUST those things. I'm not interested in mainstream toys, (unless it's a strap on-those I'll sell) please, just the ones that are a little darker and more evil. 3. Epassporte or Jettis or CCBill payouts, please. 4. KNOWLEDGABLE affiliate managers and staff. And please, can I get help when I need it, not three weeks after the question and I've had to solve it myself? All of that and you have my undivided attention. :) |
I bet you didn't know we invented this program around '99 / 2000 and called it "Buy me Toys"
