Buying Domains?
 

I emailed a few ppl about domains I want to buy telling them I am interested, and they tell me to make them an offer, obsiously I want them for cheap, but what if the domains I want to buy are worth alot more than I think.

I hate making offers. What can I say instead of making an offer.

I just made an offer for a domain that has been unused for numerous years, its not great , but this is the reply I got

Hi,

We plan to use it for some web server monitoring applications we are
developing. If however you wanted to offer $US2,000 we would let it go
otherwise we'd prefer to keep it for our project. Thanks for your interest.

I wish they would give me a price they think its worth in their eyes, that way I got something to work with, I dont want to say a number and never hear from them again.

When you show your interest many owners just want to make money off of it, not just give it to you for what it cost them. What to say to them? Have no idea. Sorry for not helping :2 cents:
