World War 3 is on the horizon and it will get started by the U.S.
 

The events of september 11th triggered it. Then Afghanastan, Iraq, and Iran will be the next target. Islam will feel like it is under attack and fight back as a unified group. The world will descend into chaos with terrorism popping up everywhere across the world. The U.S. will be involved in all fronts of the war, in many middle eastern countries.

Countries will have to take sides. North Korea and China will get involved, ceasing an opertunity to grab power. A nuclear weapon will be launched. The world as we know it will end. It may all sound too far fetched, but the sad truth it that humanity does not learn from past mistakes, it only repeats it. Nostradamous said that in 1999, a great fiery evil will descend from the skies.

Many later said that he was reffering to September 11th, but that he was wrong on the date because 911 took place in 2001. I believe that he was reffering to George Bush. Bush came into the presidential spotlight in 1999. The Mayan calendar ends in 2012.

Once the cycle starts, it will not stop. It has started. Yes, it sounds a little too end of the worldish, but then again, it is the end of the world. :)

World War 3 (the Cold War) has been and gone and thankfully was won by the US and it's allies.

World War 4 (Islamic resurgency) started back in 1979 (very rough date). It has taken us this long to figure it out because we are Westerners and are predominantly dumb.
