This is amazing, what is wrong with these people? Do they actually think that noone will ever find out?

AdultSite-Review 01-18-2005 09:44 AM

I am surprised none of you who feel sorry for Sunny, has not done anything about it. Well at least not reported here that they have.

Here is where to report copyright infringements on eBay http://pages.ebay.com/help/contact_inline/index.html

I feel for Sunny, and ANY other model and/or website, who's material has been pirated.

I have now posted a notification about the item and seller both via the above form and eBay's forum, and I suggest all honest webmasters to do the same when they find an item believed to infringe copyrights.

as i have stated NUMEROUS times before, ebay is USELESS when it comes to reporting any copyrighted adult material....i have contacted them about 6 times about shit, and it sometimes takes over 1 week just to get back initially...

if someone puts a knock off fendi bag up, they take the listing down and strike the seller, and 3 strikes your out...but if you sell copyrighted material from porn, it is ok by them....most of the time the seller will end up selling items for 1-2 months before ebay even bothers to look at it, then you have to go through the whole proving process to them to show that it is actually your content

which is what brings us to the class action suit against them....if they can be so harsh with clothing manufacturers, why not porn manufacturers?

but the fact still remains, ebay is NO help in this matter

r3ap3r 01-18-2005 09:50 AM

Wow that is just wrong. I hope he/she gets busted.

and just to set the record straight...i have done TONS of thigns about it...

at first I started sending emails out to the companies who the content belonged to, and to my suprise, not one company cared.

then I started emailing the girls directly, and again to my suprise, not many cared...and even if they did care, they didn't follow up...cause within 1-2 weeks the same items were back up again

then I started emailing the sellers through the ebay form, threatening legal action..but I can only do this for my wife's stolen content, i don't have the authority to speak on someone elses behalf

now I just post on board and let people know it is happening...and it is FAR MORE RAMPANT than anyone ever could imagine...and just so blatant too!

so fuck it, i try and deal with it, and help people, but if they don't care I can't make them

which is where this class action suit comes into play....someone else is working on it with their lawyer right now, but I expect if we do have grounds for it, that tons of companies will be signing on

AdultSite-Review 01-18-2005 10:00 AM

JaceXXX I apologize, I did not know you have been doing a lot about this, but I commend you for it.

Unfortunately because of all the email spam, your emails was either filtered, deleted, or simply ignored.

So far we know that at least you and I have reported it to eBay, and with a little luck they might pay attention. It would off course help if the victims would report it themselves.

one thing i keep saying, is that ebay needs a "questionable material" button or link on each item, so that way someone can report it without jumping through hoops...they make it entirely too hard to report illegal activity on their

PrivateIvy 01-18-2005 10:06 AM

I hope he gets what's coming to him and then some :censored

Jace 01-18-2005 10:08 AM

i wonder if someone ordering one of these cd's and keeping all records of the transaction would help out a case at all? that way someone would have proof of an illegal transaction...?

beemk 01-18-2005 10:09 AM

i tried the same thing when i used to run a merchandise store and people were selling my stuff on ebay that they printed themselves and had no luck. the best thing i did was take an old ebay name and bid on their stuff all the time and didnt pay and left them bad feedback saying they ripped me off.

True you have to browse too many pages up and down, looking through many links before you find important subjects such as this. Emergency contact information to a seller or buyer is "hidden" too.

First eBay bought PayPal, then PayPal stopped accepting payments for those items. How can this merger then be legal?

I use eBay now, but I can't wait until the day I can use a similar popular, but better, should not be hard, auction website, that accepts adult listing and payments.

One I thing about eBay I really dispise, is how easy somebody can give you a negative feedback. Example I recently had a person refusing to pay using my clearly provided payment options, one of them being a third-party CC biller. After weeks of communication, I finally gave up and gave him the a much deserved negative feedback. But that he could and did give me one back, even though I did nothing wrong, should NEVER have been possible in a better feedback system.

Anyways I am getting of the thread about stolen content, sorry...
