Cyber-shot F828
 

anybody use a Cyber-shot F828? is it a true slr or you can turn the fake shutter sound off? I have a coolpix 8700, looking at the f828 - any comments mucho appreciated :)

I would choose to go with Canon or Nikon instead

i have a coolpix 8700 - just looking at this one also ... the 8700 is nice for a cheap cam, but no AF assist and ive read good things about this sony - just looking for comments from the proverbial horses mouth - for real dslrs of course i would go with nikon

yeah, go for the canon. high end consumer sonys suck!

Is it possible to change lenses on the F828?

nah but im guessing has 'adapter' lenses. this is a cheapo cam, (but sometimes cheapo cams useful) i want to know whats the best in the fixed lens/ high end just below dslr dept. mob thanks for nfo ill look at the canons

I think I'd go for a Canon Rebel instead of the F828
