LCD Monitor: NEC 72VM or Samsung 710N?
 

what do u recomand me to buy from these 2 LCD:

The Samsung... better contrast ratio.

My 5 year old NEC Multisync was blipping on me a few days ago.. Went to Frys and picked up a Samsung 912N... 800:1 contrast. Still sitting here in the box because my NEC hasn't blipped again since. I think it feels threatened.

From those two, I'd go with the Samsung 710N

I agree, plus it looks like the border is thinner, so it'll make for a better dual monitor setup.

get the Samsung, but be careful with dead pixels, i would never buy online a LCD panel....i have a Samsung Syncmaster 171N (which is GREAT) and it had a dead pixel. then i got it replaced but just because my mom is a lawyer ;-) ....they are really assholes when it comes to that..they tell you 'it gotta have min 4-5 dead pixels'...NO WAY!

I have the 19" version of the NEC LCD X 2. I have used NEC monitors for almost 10 years and they have never failed me.

I have the Samsung 912n and I'm happy with it :banana

tech parameters of Samsung is better than NEC - for this particular model ofcourse.

I have the Samsung 713v - no complaints at all.
