Leonardo DiCaprio won a Golden Globe for Best Actor in a motion picture drama for the movie "The Aviator." Will he score an Oscar?

I think he did a great job of portratying Howard Hughes.

Hmm...Still need to see The Aviator, but I did like him in all his other movies except Titanic. So I'd give him a go for the oscar :thumbsup

i still haven't watch The Aviator so i can't tell if he deserves the Golden Globe.

Very good actor, however I have no motivation to see that new airplane flick...at all.

It's a SCORCESE film. How bad could it be? I don't think Martin Scorcese has ever done a bad movie.

Dicaprio is a great actor but it's cool to hate him...

I still think Depp will win for Finding Neverland..just his turn.

As an actor he played the part very well... the movie on the other hand sucked.

Funny how the awards shows are ignoring the 2 most watched movies of the year...

You're rite. Actually he is one of the best actors out there, and a very smart guy too. But there are a lot of haters.
The Aviator was great but any shortcomings the film had were not with Dicaprio but with the directing itself. A great film but not one of Martins best.

He will be 'rewarded' for doing two mainstream films in a row. He should have got it for Ed Wood when he was nominated but it was too 'non-hollywood'. Now they are welcoming him back. FYI, Jim Carrey better be nominated for Enternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind of the whole thing is even more of a joke than usual.

Have yet to watch it...or maybe not. I'm not a big fan of movies like The Aviator anyway.

I admit he is a good actor, however I heard he was a prick.

dont know about the oscar, but I havent seen the film either, looks decent, I'll have to check it out.
