Cheap host for galleries
 

Hi all,

I was wondering if anyone here had any experience with either TGPhost.net or swiftwill.com (good, bad or otherwise)? Also, what are some other reliable but inexpensive (under $2/gig) hosts for some of my gallery submissions for TGPs.

.. cavecreek, you probably will not get below $2/Gig ... but you´ll get the best support and uptime you could dream of. I am hosting with them over 3 years now ... and I am very happy.

I have been using SwiftWill for a month now...and it is great. Very fast connection and cheap price. You cant go wrong with 25GB/bandwidth for $24.75. Just I must warn you though..I didnt get everything they advertised on their site, like POP email account, didnt get that because he said it would take up too much bandwidth. Also didnt get access to the main control area. Oh well. It makes up for it in speed.

i have been using tgphost.net for a while.. and its great server.. fuckin happy with them.. btw if u go for them too.. put x-web in your ref code if u want..

ill recommend this one to anyone!! its good damn host.. and the admin is cool

For galleries you cant beat swiftwill without getting a dedicated box or anything like that I highly reccomend them been using them for awile and push over 400 gbs with them just tell dweeks, Keev sent ya he willl take care of ya!

I have been using swiftwill for awhile now and they have been terrific. I have no complaints so far with these guys. Dweeks has been very quick with his help and service when I have needed it.

As for the pop mail situatiom, I actually msged dweeks about that a few weeks ago and this is what he wrote to me:

"it's not that POP takes up too much bandwidth, it's just that it lacks an encrypted authentication session and therefore forwarding is preferred, but not forced - POP is still available upon request"

So I would contact him again and try and straighten it out.

I'm using swiftwill for second month - good host, best price and fast.

I switched to swiftwill after my ex host aeanetwork shut my website down because of the submission i made to the hun. So far I have been using swiftwill for almost 3 months. Their servers are very fast and they have killer prices. I do get pop account and siteadmin. So, mr panama you should contact them (icq is the fastest way) and ask for these features.
