gallery submission services, how much would you pay?

There are 2 employees at my ofice that soon will not be needed anymore for in house projects, and i don't feel like firing them since they're good hard working people.

So it would be better to outsource them to barely cover their salary doing gallery submissions/data entry/simple html, you name it.

Since i don't have a remote idea of what we could charge for such services, please tell me how much would ve a VERY competitive price for such work? (8 hours a day mon/sat) or maybe on a per task price? :helpme

What is their current salary?

I've outsourced Gallery submissions twice in the past few years, the first time I've made a nice ROI, but the outsourcing company didn't (they went bankrupt), and the second time was for free since I've teached the guy gallery submitting at the same time.
But IMHO you'd have to charge not more than ~$3-4 per hour, and the guy should be well trained to ensure that hes fast and doesn't fuck everything up.
And well trained submitters for $3-4 per hour are very rare these days.

Mattters if you will be using your own current database, or if I have to send them my advanced submitter database. Also, if something changes in the database will they be able to make the change to it? I'd be interested depending on the price.

per hour? how many galleries they would submit? i can submit one in half an hour max but my list is pretty short.

maybe on a per gallery-per day basis is more fair for both parts?

no database, but i think it's not worth it for clients if you haven't got a couple partner accounts anyway. changes in the database are of course not a problem at all or keeping an eye open for changes in rules, also picking up content, cropping thumbs, etc. completely turnkey gallery making/submitting the old fashioned way. hell maybe we could even throw in gallery templates.

I need about 2 hours for ~600-800TGPs, so I'd say he'd need at least 5 hours until he gets used to my Database (see signature), and then we're already at ~$20 per Gallery just for the submission, and at ~$30 per Gallery with hosting and your own time for building it, and you'll get less traffic since you can't give him your partner accounts.

well if you start a service def let us know. I would be interested on like a pay per gallery submit. I can make the galleries, your guys just load the index page and make descriptions with advanced submitter and it will add recips etc. I'll give Ftp info for you to upload the new html files and then you submit.

good for you, this is intended for people without time or energy to send galleries :thumbsup

or maybe you can use this to send say 4 galleries daily, and you can focus on other bigger projects instead of sitting around all day submitting galleries.
