JUst installed a dual PCI-E VGA Cards, Help!
how to check that they are both in a working mode and up and operational? anyone knows?
|
it should be noted in Device Manager in Control Panel that you have to graphic cards installed, otherwise run some benchmarks in extremely high resolution (1600x1200) and compare the results on hardware sites.
Also you should clearly see if both cards are working in the Detonator Drivers. Be carefull, games are addictive :winkwink: |
nevermind, i figured it out!!
just build a new PC for myself, ASUS motherboard A8N-SLI, with dual 128 MB PIC-e VGA Cards, AMD 64 3500+ and 1 gig of OCZ ddr dual channel ram this baby is fucking flying!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

Great game, I have already finished it, but you should also definitely check Far Cry, it's one of the best games in 2004.

Something by nVidia obviously. But 128mb per card isn't much. BTW, what kind of power supply unit you got ? |

i got two NX6600GT by invidia. and power supply is Antec, 550 WATT:) |
Since you obviously got the money, why didn't you get two 6800GT's ?
I'm surprised your 550W PSU handles it. Maybe NX6600GTs arent so much power-hungry though. I got a AGP 6800 Ultra on a 550 antec. Runs any game in high settings without any problems. Interesting to see your AquaMark 3 benches. |
