All I know is thanks to SP2 you'd have to be crazy to do that.

The general (SEO) consensus seems to be:

1) JavaScript include files are not processed by G.

2) While JavaScript is generally not processed by G, a plain URL in JS may be detected as a URL - so constructing the URL from pieces using JS would be safer.
