anyone use Vonage broadband phone?
 

pro's and con's of vonage phone service please, seems like a great offer.

I have broadband phone thru Time Warner. Digital Cable TV, Internet and Phone for $120 a month.

We use it and love it. The only real draw back is that when your connection is down, so is the phone. The great thing is that you can have multiple numbers anywhere in the country. we live in Mexico, and have a US phone number. And it works like a charm.

seems like people would use this to make some white lies about their business lol

"oh we have an office in phoenix at this # _____ and one in orlando at this # _____ and we have one in seattle at ___--"

not saying its a bad thing the more i read about this the more i like it, mostly the 1888 number for an additional fee.

We live in Cancun Mexico and use Vonage for our long distance and love it!

I got cable/phone/on demand cable all for 90.00 from optimum online.

They have a new feature - if your connection is down, they forward all your calls to a number of your choice - mine go to my cell phone.

its a beautiful thing.

I think I will sign up. Too bad the UK rates aren't free. In a year or two they will be I'm sure.

Can it receive faxes?

I got it, and i LOVE it. Only thing is you making sure that your cable modem stays up. I can call anywhere in the country, and get a steady rate at the end of the month. I pay 39.99 a month for mine. I took a chance on it by leaving Verizon, and i don't regret it a bit.

ive been thinking of changing to it. i have a few people in canada that would be awsome to talk to on the phone instead of through icq or skype.

I know tons of people that have it down here, ilimited calls into the US and Canada, free with other vonage users, they absolutely love it!
