Grating words and phrases -
 

Most people don't use these, but there seem to be a few still hanging on to these horrible words and phrases.

Some of these have even come about more recently but you can never stop using them early enough.

Help others avoid public humiliation by posting any other overused, old and offensive words and phrases you might have heard (or read).

When I encounter any of these in use, I typically throw up all over myself.

Some people pray for world peace, I pray for the end of words and phrases like these.

"whatever" has to be one of the rudest replies out there. Example:

"I really liked the movie last night. The actor was so hot."

"Yeah, whatever."

I agree! Good one!

I completely agree with this one. I hate when somebody reply to me with "whatever".

Also -
If your example is from experience, the "rudeness" was merely a jealous reaction. What guy wouldn't rather have you use "so hot" to describe them instead of another guy?

YOU: "I really liked the movie last night. The actor was so hot."

GUY IN LOVE WITH YOU (jealous of the compliment to another man):"Yeah, whatever."

I realllllllly can't stand people who use 'meh' as an answer (usually in the same way whatever is used above) :disgust

And don't get me started on how some people drop the first 'r' in "library," making it "lye-bary."

Here in Australia I can't listen to talkback radio anymore because "at the end of the day" just too many dipshit morons use this annoying phrase.

Yeah, I agree. When someone replies "whatever," it's like you're being rude to the person you're speaking to.
