LMAO :1orglaugh

I do on occasion, but douching is bad for you and can actually cause more problems :2 cents:

well, are you taking antibiotics for any reason? if so lay off them, otherwise knocking out the yeast infection will be very difficult.

I wish some of my friends was around to see this. They believe a female should douch like every fucking day. I guess that is what that happens when you have a bunch of nerds as friends, but i love them to death though. :thumbsup

Here ya go, female hygeine 101 :

Avoid wearing tight fitting clothing like jeans and pantyhose and underwear made from synthetic fibres. This creates a moist, warm environment which encourages the growth of Candida.
Remove wet or damp bathing suits immediately after swimming.
Avoid douching, soaps, bubble baths and bath salts and perfumed toilet paper.
Wipe from front to back when going to the toilet.
Change underwear daily.
Wash underwear in hot water (to destroy fungi) and double rinse (to remove any irritating detergent).
Maintain a strong immune system by getting adequate nutrition and sleep, not smoking and managing stress levels through the use of massage, yoga, relaxation, meditation, Tai chi or regular exercise.
If prescribed antibiotics for a health complaint, ask the doctor about also taking anti-fungal preparations in combination as a preventative measure.

Ok, maybe I'm in some sort of minority here but I have NEVER had a need to douche. Washing my bits twice daily has always been adequate for me. In all my years of adulthood (more than a decade) I've only had ONE yeast infection and I used an over the counter remedy. Cleared it right up.

All that info above is very very useful and anyone who follows it should never have any problems with yeast infections. :2 cents:
