How do you handle your hand submissions? Please read.
 

Many people submit by hand for various reasons (partner submissions, blocked autosubmitters, expensive autosubmitters...).

To make my hand submissions easier I made a site (for the time being just for my local use) which helps me with organizing and submitting by hand a lot. During submissions I don't have to take care of gallery/page URLs (which URL to which site), because my site takes care of that. I submit to 4 sites at once so it takes me less time. The site also remembers where I stopped (in case my browser or PC crashes) so I can take off where I left. It archives all my submissions so I have the access to any particular gallery's/page's description or actual location at any given time with the press of a button. It's a lot better method than those with links in one frame and submit pages in the other (or even having submit pages in favorites) because it saves me time and automates a couple of things, organizes, puts in archives and remembers where was I, if browser crash takes place.

So, I was thinking to put this tool online and make it available to everyone for free. You could set up your own submissions the way you want, include only submit pages you want and not a ton of others, set how many sites per gallery/page you want to submit to...

BUT, before I go and really do it, I'd like to know is anyone interested? Do you think you have your hand submissions well organized and you don't need anything else, or do you think you could use something better and I should therefore make this available for you too?

Tools that support hand submitting would be worth having. Some of the features you're talking about sound good.

I wouldn't want info about my submissions to be the property of somebody elses site.

I think all the info one would put up there is already available on any TGP or other traffic pump. You wanna see where people submit you check webmaster resources or ask people, you wanna see what gets listed you just surf there and click, click, click.

I myself couldn't care less for this data as it's of any use to me - it's already public.

Still custom settings would stay custom and would be protected from other users to see.

Sounds interesting.

I already have a good system... I have a page with all my recip buttons and all the submit page links. I also have a 2 monitor setup so I have that page in one monitor and the gallery I am submitting in the other. I simply go down my list of galls, hit the tgp to submit to and a new window pops up with their submit page (in the first monitor). It works really well for me and I can build and submit 20 galls to 60 TGP's in about a half hour.

I would be interested in the archive feature you mentioned. That is the one thing that I hate doing. I try to keep a log (hand written and saved in a webpage) of evry gallery that went to every tgp and when (date and time). I did it originally to figure out the best pattern and who lists when and when is the best time to submit. I use one monitor for each place i submit to. Currently i'm up to 289 monitors/submits. I wanna go to 300 but frankly, i've run out of room in the house. Plus, i have to go upstairs to check the submissions of the last 120 sites.

McSpike...sounds like something very useful...build it into a site and slap your own banners at the top, and i'll use it, and im sure allot of people well. Just tell me the url http://bbs.gofuckyourself.net/board/biggrin.gif

It really makes you much more productive. I could'nt live without it.

Can't say when it will be available online as I have to re-write all in to PHP and add a few useful whistles and bells but I hope/think that at the begining of December.
