MTV or MuchMusic?
 

I think MTV is in the shitter and has been for several years now.

MuchMusic is a lot better.

Does MTV have MUSIC on it anymore?

Both of them play music thats all that matters.

I have never seen music on MTV in the last few years... even TRL only plays a few seconds of each song... When MTV2 started playing a lot of Rock and shit and then it stopped and now it just plays more reruns from MTV, yesterday both channels were playing Road Rules, at the same time, for 3+ hours straight. If I want to see music I watch Fuse.

WHEN does MTV play music? I am seriously asking.

much music is pretty gay, I think they are a good 10 years behind in music.

Havnt watched either in years! I remember MTV playing a lot of hip hop/rap which i'm not too into, so I'd go with Much Music.

Mid to late 90's, MTV rocked, but Much Music is way bettere now. But Canadians and Americans will always see different versions of each show

Call me old, I really liked MTV when there still was VJ's around, I could so tap Martha Quinn's ass back then...

Business trips to Canada had me watching MuchMusic and really liking it, it was everything MTV should be, uncensored music videos, frank talk about sex without the FCC sitting in the backround, I actually looked forward to these trips to the sticks as long as there was satellite TV around.

Then in the last year or so my cable company had an uncensored feed of MuchMusic so I had my TV's tuned to that about 20 hours a day. I have MuchMusic to thank for improving my musical selections in a time when American music was (and still is) for shit.

If you can't tell, my vote is for MuchMusic! :thumbsup

there is also MuchMoreMusic, which is like regular MuchMusic except without the rap and hiphop...more for easy listening...which doesn't really make sense calling it Muchmoremusic, since its actually MuchLessMusic, but whatever...

mtv was in the shitter before it even aired. just another useless method to promote trite preconcieved corporate crap by shoving it in the face of brainwashed materialistic consumers.

Just a sidenote, but rumor has it that Dan Rather's replacement in the spring as the main anchor for CBS will be none other than JD Roberts, an original MuchMusic VJ out of Toronto. :)
