I was thinking about getting one. I hear that you can broadcast to your car stereo through an FM station. Does that work well?

Yeah, you can - its called iTrip

iTrip functions well or not so well accordingly to where you are located. If you're in a heavily populated area like NYC with tons of radio stations, expect static. I ditched my iTrip for a cassette adapter, and this is by far the better solution.
