Gallery Submitions and use of recips?
 

Hey, among other things I post galleries daily to most of the large tgps.

My galleries have good content, good looking design, hosted on a pay host , never redirect, no counter ect... So pretty good chance of getting listed?

I do get listed some of the time but have a question.

Tgps (large ones) that require a recep do they like 1 page with just there recip on it , or a page with say 3 recips with tgps that have good traffic so they get a few hits back or what? I try and group all the big tgps on a few pages so that they get the most traffic but I don't seem to get listed as much as I would like.

My question is what can i do to increase chances to get listed?

hello xApster, i have noticed that the hun and worldsex prefers only their own recip while the rest prefer 3-4 recips. Also, you'll be listed easier if you have 3-4 recips of big tgps in one page instead 3 recips of small tgps and one big. The big tgp in some cases won't list you since they ask the recips of traffic trading and the small tgps won't contribute in the same degree.

another thing to look for is the trades on the guy's site.

I like to put recips of sites that trade with each other, and also make sure they are of comparable traffic size.

Maybe it matters, maybe not. I mean, most of the larger TGPs have several webmasters doing reviews. It might not mean jack shit to one reviewer, while it is the end of the world to another.

for all submissions, put a recip to thehun or worldsex and to their tgp even if you are not submitting that page to thehun or worldsex. the tgp owner will love it and list it http://bbs.gofuckyourself.net/board/biggrin.gif

The only time I ever saw hits come off a recip button is when it was on with AL4A

I am sure it would get similar results with Worldsex, JJJ, Call-Kelly and other monster sized sites, too.

I was pretty surprised, to say the least. I don't even put my recip on a page submitted to AL4A

what are some of the best tgp's for getting listed quickly?

You just have to read the rules and look at the galleries near the top to get a sense of what they like

but even when you follow the rules it can be tough to get listed on all the tgps. There are some major sites that I've submitted over 90 galleries to and have never ever gotten listed.

That's a good way to get blacklisted at the large tgp's. It may work on a newbie who doesn't know any better (and of course has no traffic) but as far as the big guys go... play it fair and do as Steve says. Recip them with equal sites. They will recognize your efforts eventually.
