The damn Dreamweaver is crashing!!! alternative?
I have very stable PC, and my 2 past PC configs were also very stable. So it's not a PC problem! I use Dreamweaver UltraDev 4 (the MX version is bloated and has far too many eye candy which bothers me so I don't use it)
Past 10 windows open, Dreamweaver is crashing and it pisses me off. But I'm very used to this program. Any alternative with the same options and similar interface? Thanks! |

suggestion
go to macromedia.com - download the 30-day-trial, head on over to astalavista.cc, get a key for it and unlock the trial. no more crashing.

Alternative? Shut down your computer and go grab some coffee.

Macromedia products, and Adobe products for that matter, are worth every single red penny they cost. -- AkiraSS, I used to use UltraDev 4, it was my favorite for years. I loved the simplicity of it and all, and never upgraded to the MX versions until about a year ago. The MX versions may be slower at times (then again, my machine isn't exactly lightning) but it makes up for it with the stabibility of it. I use Dreamweaver MX 2004 now and it rarely, if ever, crashes - and if it does it is usually the fault of my computer, not the program. I hated the cluttered initial look of the program but it's quite easy to change and get rid of all the unnecessary shit. I say you give it a go. :) |
Best HTML program ever - NOTEPAD.
