Affected by the Philippine Outsourcing?

I've been in the Philippines for four years now. If you had staff outsourced here and are affected by the recent turn of events, please feel free to contact me. I might have the solution for you.

Will be off and on the computer for the rest of the day, email me if you would like to talk, or catch me on icq.

If you currently have staff here or need staff, I'm sure I can help you with people ranging from virtual assistants, researchers, basic webmaster, graphic artist, web programmers on to a full development team, your staff or leased.

Please email or chat with me regarding details. I don't make it to the board as much as I would like.

Short background on myself, CPA from USA, living in Makati City, Philippines for almost four years.

The Philippines is a great place to live, once you figure out how to get things done.

Good people

Tropical climate

English widely spoken

All modern services are easily available in the metropolitan areas.

Large and reasonable priced labor pool

Gorgeous beaches and jungles on all the 7,000 + islands

list goes on...

Steen2 01-16-2005 12:51 AM

All the people who I work with in the Philippines have said they are unaffected (by the tsunami, I assume you refer to). Also, if you live in the Philippines, how come you don't know how to spell the country's name?

dannyK 01-16-2005 02:32 AM

Philippines was no affected by tsunami, it's not in the indian ocean,
what are you guys talking about?

He wasn't referring to the tsunami. He was referring to the recent ownership struggle over and fallout resulting from AOS.

I agree, the Philippines is great. I was born here but grew up in the USA, have connections here, and am Filipino. I speak the language and know the mind set. The Philippines is awesome for outsourcing.

Are you realted to AOS or a competitor?

Richard - Triplexcash 01-16-2005 02:51 PM

Anyone interested in more details, please contact me via email or ICQ.

I am not and was not associated with AOS.

Thanks.

Basically, if you were outsourcing staff over here, and he has no place to work, let me know. I have the facility, and that is all you would pay for. The person works for you, and you pay the person. We can provide other services as well.

For $300.00 a month istead of 800.00 or 900.00 your staff can work from our facility for 300.00. If you need our help to get them paid from you, we can assist in that as well.

$300.00 a month for facility managment, or 8/900.00 a month for outsource.

Depends on your situation. We also have a database of about 500 prequalified people, many who have both mainstream and adult work.

Hit me up on ICQ for details as well. 203710029

Still I would strongly recommend people to go with well known companies, Joel fucked it up for AOS, there's a couple of good well known outsourcing companies based out here:

iwebmasters.com
webmasterlabor.com
xxxoutsourcing.com?

I know James, the owner of AOS and no, we're not a direct competitor of AOS, iwebmasters or xxxoutsourcing. My site is www.webmasterlabor.com We focus on traffic, data, writing/research, and analytics.

I agree, very hard working and very easy to work with :thumbsup

Gene is a straight up, and not an outsourcer.

Always had good things written on this board!!

Of course there are issues with the outsourcing. It is evident by the recent post. Some people like it, and some people do not.

If you have a good person that working for you over here, and no place to work, I am just offering another solution/perspective to the situation.

Simple as that.

Facility Management it's another oppourtunity... I know, because I have been here working in Manila longer than all of the outsourcing companies here.

Any questions about, let me know.

hiring someone just from a post on a board is asking to get bent over IMO... go thru a company w/a track record or at least some proof they won't jack u up. i think many become too trusting because we are so used to the internet but dont think that the person on the other end of the screen may not have your best interests in mind even when u pay them

I had and I still have a webmaster working for me at ProAOS (old AOS).
I've always been happy with is work and from what he told me, he have always received a good treatment.
I really don't know what to do, should I stay with them or move to another outsourcing compagny and teach everything again to a new webmaster (witch happen to be a pain in the ass to do hehe).
What are you guys doing?
You stay with PROAOS? you think we can trust them after what tey did?
You're moving away?
I'm in a big dilemma.
The thing is that we don't have all the infos we need to take a good decision...
Have a nice day

Etienne 01-17-2005 08:25 AM

I have posted like 10 times in 3 years on GFY and I had absolutely no idea of my user/pw hehe I tried some combo without success... it was more easy for me to create a new user!:)
I'm not hidding anything :1orglaugh

Richard - Triplexcash 01-17-2005 12:15 PM

If you already have people here working for you, and they are caught in the current shakeout, give me an email or icq.

We can provide them a place to continue the work. You only pay for the work space, the employee management is up to you, as is his pay.
