Why you should never fire a weapon in the air
Wow that sucks :(
I wonder what position the gun was aimed in. Wehear alot about random stray bullets here in NY. |

He couldn't have fired it straight up, must have been at a pretty good angle.
If the bullet was fired straight up and then fell back to earth at the speed gravity and the atmosphere would allow it, then i doubt it would have killed anyone. An SKS fires a NATO 7.62 x 39 round same as a AK or Ruger Mini 30. These are similar to the popular hunting round Winchester .308 (7.62 x 51) and the popular WWII 30/06 (7.62x59) all of these are hi velocity NATO rounds. He probably fired it off on a 45 degree angle and the projectile was still travelling under muzzle velocity power. Oh i forgot to add: he should have just used a shotgun with birdshot, much safer! |
unlucky....

police are told to go under highway overpasses at midnite and stay there for 15 mins
if not reponding to a call. I make sure I am not outside from 11.30 to 2:00 if I could help it. |
Thats why you not suppose to fire it at all.
Wow... that really is unfortunate. :(
wow I saw that on the news here when the guy died.. Amazing they actually found the guy and the gun that did it.
I have heard that more people die at " the running of the bulls " from falling bullets than from the bulls.
Now thats just fucked up. Being at the wrong place at the wrong time :(
that sucks big time :(
I saw a show on the learning channel a couple of years ago about a woman who was killed the same way.
wow, how insanely unlucky
