I have now added a link to the Microsoft spyware software to a few places. I 'heard' that they get 30,000 new downloads everyday.

Do a search on Google and get a fullscreen search complete with your keywords to a completely different search company.

I recommend you guys take a peek and see what these guys are doing to your sites, and your sponsor sites.

Since a couple of my sites dropped to the bottom of Google I've noticed that there are results that not only display my keywords, but also my meta descriptions and often text from my pages that lead to search portal pages.

That is not creative marketing nor good business. It is theft and I hope it becomes recognized in law as such. To anyone who makes their living that way I hope you get to spend a little time in prison with the other criminals.:disgust

Sorry, I wasn't clear on that--

I did a search for 'computer monitors' on google.
The search at google continues as normal, but while it is loading you get a full page(fullscreen or F11) of links(most seem to be from overture).

If you close that window, then you see Google results.

As much as that sucks I would actually prefer it to what I was talking about, at least you have a chance of the surfer visiting with what you are talking about. What I am talking about is actually putting the name of my site in a search and having the top result not only have my site's name name but whatever relevant part of my text that matches any additional keywords searched for, then when you click on it there is nothing but someone's portal page without so much as a link to anything similar to my page other than "Find (keywords) at (other site)".

I definitely feel your pain on that one too. I'm sure alot of us have.
