Were you scared when you got into this biz, or did you know you would succeed?

Since i'm just starting, i'm feeling a bit of both....i hope to hell it works out though, even if there is no money in porn...

Leave the industry when you can :)

I started very young to make cash and I loved it and I still do... :winkwink:

the only time i felt "scared" is when i finally quit my part time job. i had no more saftey nets, just this industry to rely on for $$.

but it also motovated me to fuckin bust ASS & work hard! :)

I really feel sorry for a noob starting today.

You get everything thrown to you, hosting, galleries, content.

Only problem, is you have to share it with thousands of others.

Nothing to be scared about for the next 4 years bro. Just buy some big ass dogs for your yard and be sure you have your escape tunnel ready to go at a moment's notice.

Ill admit it... i was terrified when it came time to quit my full time job. I was agonizing over the decision, losing sleep over it. I did everything i could to keep my expenses down, and saved up 8 or 9 months expenses before i took the leap.

Kinda funny when i look back.... now i dont have a worry in the world. :)

i'm more afraid of gfy than the business itself, it eats up all my time

Kevsh 01-15-2005 01:56 AM

I wish i got into the biz back in '94 when I first started building mainstream sites for corporate ass-kissing, back-stabbers. Not that i'm bitter.

There wasn't much to be scared of (financially) in '97, throw up a page and make thousands. Coming back to the biz 6 months ago, I wasn't scared but I did know that it would take 100x more work :|
