But I really have no idea. anyone know which cam Cyberage-Dave uses? the couple of vids he's posted from Vegas look fantastic.

The MicroMV format is not a smart move. Stick with MiniDV. :2 cents:

i use the panasonic pv-gs120. very light and portable.

Yeah, Sony is still selling them even though it is a doomed format.

I agree that you should stay away from MicroMV, and don't try to get the smallest camera around. The bigger the camera, the more stable the shot. If you can't afford the vx2100 then look at the sony trv950. Both are 3 chips and both have progressive shooting mode.

We use two Canon XL1's and for backup have a GL2 and a Sony VX2000.

I'm not sure what model it is, but Sony makes a "HD" camera specifcally geared towards shooting for High Definition tv...anyone using this?

I have used a Canon XL-1 since it came out six years ago and use a Sony VX-2100 now too. My next camera wil probably be HDV for Hi Definition, probably the new Sony.
