The MicroMV format is not a smart move. Stick with MiniDV. :2 cents:

I personally use this one and LOVE it! I got mine for around $2200.
http://www.sonystyle.com/is-bin/INTE...amCamcord ers I agree that you should stay away from MicroMV, and don't try to get the smallest camera around. The bigger the camera, the more stable the shot. If you can't afford the vx2100 then look at the sony trv950. Both are 3 chips and both have progressive shooting mode. Here's a video grab I made from stuff I shot in progressive mode (which makes video grabs look awesome): http://www.nichemoney.com/promo-pics/SunnyLeone03.jpg |
We use two Canon XL1's and for backup have a GL2 and a Sony VX2000.

vx2000 very happy with it

I'm not sure what model it is, but Sony makes a "HD" camera specifcally geared towards shooting for High Definition tv...anyone using this?
|
I have used a Canon XL-1 since it came out six years ago and use a Sony VX-2100 now too. My next camera wil probably be HDV for Hi Definition, probably the new Sony.
