What made you realize that you "made it"?

What was it? 1 join a day, 2, 3, 10 joins a day?

Or was it when you became stress free? Maybe when you could buy any toy you wanted?

What was it that made you realize that you "made it"?

wargames 01-14-2005 05:49 PM

Being stress free nothing better than it.

quiet 01-14-2005 05:50 PM

first time having 100K in the bank, after paying that month's bills. i can still remember the day.

cold_ice 01-14-2005 05:51 PM

I think once a person dies then they will know if they made it or not.

HighRoller 01-14-2005 05:52 PM

When I let a bunch of big checks pile up in my room for months
with no plans to deposit anytime soon.

WiredGuy 01-14-2005 05:54 PM

I still don't consider myself to have "made it".

eroswebmaster 01-14-2005 06:16 PM

Haven't made it yet...growing? yes but far from where I need to be to feel comfortable.

What made you realize that you "made it"?

The spooge between my legs? Oh. Wait a minute... :)

MattO 01-14-2005 06:21 PM

When Barry Manilow wrote a song about me.

Rob 01-14-2005 06:21 PM

After it broke. :(

brand0n 01-14-2005 06:23 PM

when krl came to me and asked for a loan.

NetRodent 01-14-2005 06:23 PM

When I realized that I not only had enough money in the bank to go out and buy pretty much anything I wanted, but that I aready had pretty much eveything I wanted.

BoNgHiTtA 01-14-2005 06:24 PM

You never make it. Thats the trick. Only losers think they have made it.

Ask a person worth a couple mill, they don't think they have made it. When they asked Rockafeller how much is enough, and he said "just a little more", then you understand what 'made it' means.

maddox 01-14-2005 06:35 PM

When I will buy Lamborghini murcielago (petty soon) :)

i don't buy that at all. you can 'make it' and be happy with what you have - not everyone continously wants more.

I think you are 100% right Quiet.....not everyone wants more :thumbsup I know what made it means to me. Granted everyone isn't the same, but if we feel we have made it...whatever that means...then who can say that we didn't except ourselves.

Good question...

I do pretty well.. not like the big big boys but most likley better than 98% of people on this board, and i'm stressed most of the time. Once something is going good something breaks or something similar.. I dont think I will ever think i have made it.. See once you make money there is no bigger fear than loosing it.

Meloman 01-14-2005 11:15 PM

I still don't think "i've made it". There's still a LOT more I wish to accomplish in life. I'me a very, very goal oriented person and never give up. Plus living in San Francisco where even a dump costs 1 million has set my standards super high.

As far as this biz goes... I guess the closest thing was a few years back during a Vegas convention. I got invited to a private Maxcash dinner that was all employees and like 1 other person. Though I sent them a decent amount of joins daily I knew I was hardly there biggest affiliate....but knowing that I made enough of a good impression where I got to sit at a private dinner meant a lot to me.

SykkBoy 01-15-2005 01:25 AM

when people come to tradeshows and seek me out instead of the other way around 9and not to kick my ass ;-))

seriously, I always feel I have to change and keep growing..I'm never satisfied or complacent, so would say I haven't really made it until I can walk away with no regrets...

Napolean 01-15-2005 01:30 AM

when i started making enough to pay all my bills and still have money left over to go out on weekends.

something i could never do when i worked part time and fulltime jobs

hehe, you're 24, right?

95% of people at your age, would probably consider themselves succesfull if they made 20% of what you earn....

gangbangjoe 01-15-2005 05:41 AM

imo

to make it means not only money

Rui 01-15-2005 05:54 AM

Still working on it, hopefully will reach it soon since compared to some of you guys I don't need shitloads of money to consider "having made it" ;)
