what feautures would you want it to have exactly and how much would you care to pay or how much would you be willing to pay for a back-end that can include a gallery generator, content manager, affiliate tracking program etc..?

We didn't really get the chance to talk about it extensively in Vegas, but it peaked a lot of interest. Turn key solution to something that costs most thousands of dollars is always a good idea.

Right now the following companies will build you a private label VOD site

1. Video Pass
2. AEBN
3. Hot Movies
4. VODhub (Which uses objectcube software)


There are pros and cons for every vendors solution and also the $$ amount. Before you start your own private label VOD site I will advice you to send traffic to an existing VOD site, figure out how its converting and then based on the $$ you are getting you should deicide what type of VOD solution you need.

VOD business is lucrative and highly profitable if done correct. One of my customers grew to 120 people in 3 years and they only concentrate on VOD.

I am not referring to companies that can build you a co-branded theatre, I am talking about providing a video on demand back end for any affiliate program to have thier own VOD back-end and be able to provide theatres for thier own affiliates....another words, we will be licensing the software behind what makes up Videopass so webmasters and affiliate programs can provide everything AEBN or Vdeopass can for thier own affiliates.

Well Hot movies did for Hustler VOD and VODHub did for bestmovies.com. I know AEBN can do this also (Not the current co-branded theater), plus you guys can do this.

The hardest part is getting agreements from Studios, with your solution does the new site have to go and get contracts from Studios?

I know we compete in some areas (Selling the software), but you are have a good thing going.

As far as the content producers, it would be hard to get them to commit to having us givie rights to people they don't know.



Also...I don't know if i want to do the work of encoding and ripping video.

Some might want one bit rate and others might want another.

Another thing is, do they want to do it scene based or do they want to leave it as full lenght movies?

There are a lot of variable to factor in so we will just provide the technology and leave the content to the VOD solution purchaser.

Bump for a great offer...cant beat that...what a quick way to start your own VOD company ...cheap...for quality programming!

It will be soup to nuts all the way to the content and at that time....you will have to deal with the studios yorself.

Pricing is not yet descided but, it will be fair enough so that we can sell this 100 times if not more.

Marty I had spoken to you in the past and you told me 50 grand to put a solution togther, to even consider your software you need to bring it down to what the others charge for their solutions. Were interested but not at even close to 50 grand, shit im not even interested at half that. Most of the solutions i have looked at are in the sub 10k range and a few are in the 5k range
