Man I fucking love The Who. Just listening to "Live At Leeds" for the first time in a few years, I used to listen to this album every fucking day. Man, this is music. :thumbsup

Who???????????
Oh. That who. |
i have a the who trauma... it was bashed in our brains in high school music class.... since then i have this weird hatred towards the who.....
|
Saw them in '82 for their "farewell" tour. They played a solid 3 hours and did every song I hoped for. Roger Daltrey has an awesome voice that has held up very well.
|
saw the who at giants stadium a few times back in the 90s ...kicked ass
|
The Who is one of the best bands in history imho.

The first time I ever saw The Who was in a small pub in Harrow (nw suburb of London). Heaven knows how long ago that was.
A couple of years later they were customers (I was running a limo/transport business in those days) and I got to know them well enough that one Christmas I went with Keith Moon to take a turkey back to the Grosvenor House hotel (not too many people can order out from there). They are an amazing live band: way better than on record. Maybe it sticks in my mind because it got them into the Guinness Book of Records as the "loudest band in the world", but the concert at Charlton Football Club is the one I remember best. |
who has some of my all time favorites
|
I absolutely love them!
That movie Tommy Boy was insane though.. crazy shit |

|
I saw the "last" tour 3 weeks after Ox died... Still an incredible show, best concert I have ever seen and I have not been to another concert since... after all, who can fallow The Who?
