it makes me think when i see how many webmasters have to fight with depressions
 

why are so many Wm`s depressed ?

because of all the time in front of the computer :(

Well there are many Webmaster's that suffer from both Depression and Anxiety problems that I can assure you...the nature of this bussiness doesn't help a bit with it iether..

but they dont tell us if they suffered from anxiety attacks or depressions before they started in this biz

Because they look at pussy all day long that they'll never get...

I think the real reason is lack of social life... :2 cents:

so much work can cause depression, maybe looking at naked chicks and not getting laid might be a cause. its important to take time away and get your mind off work sometimes.

Youre absolutly right... When you dont have depressions youshould really be happy.
But sadly enough... most people have fun about this. Mostly people who have never dealt with it, or dont understand what a depression means.

For myself, i have since i whas a child depressions, heavy mood changes (when i feel (quit good) it can turn into depression in seconds without any reason) Anxiety problems etc. I have what they call a personalitty disorder.

Ok enough about it... why most wm have depressions? Its not that the job makes the depression (ok, sometimes you can get depressed when you see your ibill stats or something).
I think people who are depressed, or have Anxiety problems, choose to become a wm, because behind your computer is a safe place... you dont have to deal with people face to face.

But to be a wm certainly wont make you suffer frim depressions etc.. no way.
