Well as some of you know...I'm moving March 1st to Chicago...

Just seeing some things to do up there and who is based outta there...Who lives there...ect ect...

My boyfriend is moving up there for a job and I am going with him...I am not simply moving because I feel like going up there to freeze my ass off...

Thats why I don't know much about chicago...never thought about living there...but hey you only live once...So live it to the fullest...

i live in Milwaukee, about an hour & 1/2 from Chi-town, but im not sure whats all to do down there. i think theres casinos there (or right outside of chicago) if you like to gamble. everytime im in chicago, i just try to drive as fast as i can to get out of it lol crazy ass drivers down there :Oh crap

Sounds like you are in an alternative lifestyle since you have a boyfriend. Check out the bars in boystown, or Crobar on Monday night. My cousin is gay and she always parties there.

I'm in Chicago more or less, as is Hank, Grogan, and a few more usual suspects on this board. Depending on where you're coming from Chicago is far from being a boring town. Unlike San Diego and Winnipeg, two cities I've spent time and they both roll up the sidewalks at 9:00pm, there is ALWAYS something to do in Chicago, even at 4:30 on a Friday morning. :thumbsup

Well we are still trying to see which part we wanna live in...I wanna live in downtown close to Equinix but I am not sure of the area yet...We are suppose to be going up there next week to figure out where we wanna live...I am gonna be doing some tech work as well on the side for some companies at Equinix...So I wanna be CLOSE...

Anyone who wants to icq me and give me some 411 and answer some questions I appreciate it...

I'm here in Chi-town the greatest city in this country...

We have everything NYC has without the dirt, garbage and prices. We have blues as was said before, jazz, punk, and any kind of club you want to find. We have great high class restraurants high priced, ethnic, cheap with great service. We have parks and museums and alot of green space. We have alot of open space so you don't feel closed in like NYC. We have friendly people for the most part...If you want quiet we have the suburbs. We have great architecture and a lake almost as big as an ocean and a skyline that is 2nd to none and good shopping everywhere. Need I say more :Graucho

there are plenty of things to do in chicago.
